I want to put my business online, but I don't know where to start. This is my first website, can you help me? Yes! You do not need any online experience. Bayluna Unlimited Web Design offers free consultation on all services. We help you right from the start! You will have a team member assigned to you for all your questions along the way. Just ask us! What preparations does my business have to do to get online? Brochures, logos, photographs, business cards, etc. are all great resources to use. For new business ventures we will help you get started from scratch. At Bayluna Unlimited Web Design, we work together with you to address these questions.
What information should I have ready upon purchasing my design package? We will need your company profile, contact info, art work, products and services, and any other information you intend to present on your website. In addition, if you have looked at your competitions online presence, that experience can be very useful.
How much input do I have? We welcome and encourage your input! The more input we receive from you the better able, and faster, we will be able to satisfy your needs and produce a site that will have the desired look and impact that you want. It's your website! We want it to look the way you want it. We guarantee that you will be happy.
If I already have a site can you help me improve it?
Yes! We can usually redesign or freshen up an existing site quicker, and for less money than building one from scratch. Whether your company's website "doesn't look professional", takes too long to load or the navigation is baffling to visitors, we can help.
Can you use my business's existing logo, brochure design, and other materials for my website? Yes! If your logo and promotional materials are in electronic form we can use them easily, or if need be, we can scan and convert them. Bayluna Unlimited Web Design's designers will help you establish your online image to be consistent with your existing image that your customers already know & trust.
Does my business need to be computer-based in order to have a website? Do I need to know about computers?
NO! You do not need a computer for your business to have a website. Many companies function very well without a computer. Creating a website is more about exposing your business to new potential customers and generating new sales. There is no need to overhaul the way your company does business. If you choose to have a computer, say for e-mail, we can help.
What does website Maintenance or website Updates mean? Website Maintenance or Website Updates refers to changes made to your website after the initial design & setup. Keeping a website up-to-date is essential in having repeat visitors to your site. Updating the site with sales, articles, new products, newsletters, press releases, financial figures and links are all examples of website Maintenance. You are welcome to send us your list of necessary revisions. We are happy to assist you with any changes you would like to make for $60/hour. We now offer a Webmaster service that is a pre-paid, discounted update package for your site; 10 hours of work for only $300. This saves you $300! This update package may be renewed as often as needed.
My company is in the service industry. Will a website help my business?

Who writes the copy/text for each of the pages on the website? You are responsible for writing the copy/text for your website. However, Bayluna Unlimited will place your supplied copy on the website for you. We are also available to assist as required.

If your needs exceed the MTM programs, or, are very specialized, we will develop your web site needs on a time-and-materials (TAM) basis. Based on our mutual agreement, we will provide you with a project estimate. We expect 50% of the project estimate before we start the project, and the remaining balance, plus any approved overruns, on the day the site goes live or three months from the date the contract is originally signed, whichever is sooner. We offer this payment plan to help make the website you want more affordable. Certain restrictions do apply and payment plans are not available on startup fees, SSL or SEO.
How long have you been in business? My wife, Carmen and I started Bayluna Unlimited in August, 1996 to provide computer consulting and web site creation. Until my retirement in 2005, I was employed full time with ExxonMobil, providing computer, security, internet, and facility design. Until Carmens' retirement in 2005, she ran a web based company and provided web site consulting, to others.

Are your Web Design costs one time? Yes, unless you would like to use one of our MTM packages.
Do you have your own servers? No, we find it more economical to use a full service provider such as VodaHost. We are able to keep our overhead low by not having expensive computing facilities, backup facilities, expensive servers, 24/7 staff and the day to day constraints that require price increases for our clients. Due to low overhead, we are able to partner with you and provide your web site needs in a timely, low cost manner.
Where are you located? Our offices are located in Spring, Texas in easy proximity to our clients, in Conroe, Humble, North Houston, Tomball and The Woodlandsl.
When I call, will I be speaking to someone in the U.S.? Yes, we are your neighbors. Our phones ring in Spring, Texas. and all your queries are answered by local professionals. You always work with Project Managers physically located in Texas. Unlike many of our larger competitors, we do not utilize web site “coders” overseas.
Can I have a site that looks like this? Actually, making it look like anything you want is not much of a factor. We'll start with your initial direction and then work with you to refine it.
Have you built a site like mine before?
Usually the content of a site or type of business does not affect the methods, procedures and codes used to build it. You will provide us with the text and any other content for your website and any specific pictures you would like. We can provide you with access to thousands of royalty free stock photos. Design Development We ask you to provide examples of websites you really like, colors you like, and your competitors’ websites. In many cases, your web site might take on the general appearance of your business cards, or marketing brochures. Once you provide the information to us, usually within 2 working days, you get a creative "mockup" of what your website will look like when it's completed. At this stage, you and the designer work closely to develop a look that will be both visually pleasing and user-friendly. Design Finalization
After the initial "Mockup" is designed, you can review it online. We provide you a web link to view the "mockup" and ask if you would like any changes. You request revisions as necessary and then you provide final approval. Web Development After receiving your final approval on the "mockup", we will then begin building the website and web pages, incorporating the design and all of the content that you provide. Pre-launch Evaluation After the site is built, you will be able to view all pages to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. You will submit any desired changes to the copy and then give final approval before the site goes live. Launching Your Website After final approval and payment has been received, your website will be published on your domain, and it will be live for the entire world to see! Ongoing Support After your website is launched, we will work with you to establish a regular review and maintenance schedule of your web site to accommodate your requests, user feedback, system upgrades and any new emerging web technologies.
My website targets a serious and mature audience. Can you make clean HTML and non flash corporate websites? Yes! In fact we design very good professional websites. We have experience in working with clients from different fields and we understand their different taste.
What is your typical turnaround period? Due to the high level of custom work and the collaborative process involved in each website we build, it's difficult to predict an exact turnaround time. We will work together with you to complete the Web Design Project in a timely manner. We agree to work expeditiously to complete the Web Design, but delays can occur if any milestone that requires your action, such as approving design mockups or web design changes, is not acknowledged on time. As an example, a 5 page website can be finished anywhere between 1-3 weeks after we've received all content and feedback from you. It's a safe estimate to expect your project to take 2-3 weeks, though it could be much quicker or slower, depending on your input. Ask your project manager for more information.
Will you custom design our website for this price? Absolutely, we do awesome custom web design.
Can you host our website and register our domain name? We don’t actually host web sites, but we will provide this service using VodaHost. This function is part of the $95.40 setup fee. This works out to $7.95 per month for Registration of your domain name, unlimited E-mail addresses, unlimited storage space, unlimited bandwidth and Yes, we become you Web Administrator.
If I have an existing domain name, can you handle a transfer to your service provider? Yes, we can easily help you retain your old domain name on VodaHost or register a new one for you.
After you have designed our website, can we manage it ourselves easily? Yes! You'll have several options for managing your site after it's completed. When your web site is published, you will have full access to it. You will be able to make any changes to the site if you have any web editing knowledge. In addition, we offer a Webmaster service, if you'd like us to manage your new site for you. See our WebMaster service.
I do not live in Texas. Will you work with me? Should I not look for a local company?
We are different from most web design groups in that we do not like to provide services outside our normal service area. We covet a one-on-one relationship with our clients. We feel that we could not provide the level of service that you or we would expect. For this reason, we feel that you should look within your local area for service.
Can you help us get listed in Search Engines? We have a Web Marketing Service (Search Engine Optimization) to help you list in Major Search Engines. For more details, please ask a Representative when you call us.
Will we get a chance to review and suggest modifications to the website before it is launched?
Yes! In fact, we will work with you closely to create the website based on your input. We will do our very best to make you happy.
I am a small home business, do you work with Individuals? Yes, we work with any size company, professionals, home business owners, startups, and individuals.
Do you design Adult Web sites? NO! Not under any circumstance.
What are your Business Hours? We work 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM CST - Monday to Friday and on Saturday, if scheduled.
